Verify Age with Electronic I.D. Reading and Age Verification (MagStrip Only)

The Fraud Fighter™ Age Verifierreads the information stored on driver licenses and state ID cards, calculates the owner's age, and displays the information on a clear and easy-to-read LCD screen. This simple-to-use device may be used for age verification, ID checking, and state compliance for the sale of alcohol, tobacco and other age–restricted products.

The Fraud Fighter™ Age Verifier comes as a “base” unit capable of reading the magnetic strip information on US driver licenses.  This currently includes 16 states’ licenses. For a list of which states use magnetic strip data storage, please click on the “State Format Map” tab above.  If you require the ability to read licenses from states that do not have magnetic strip available, then you will need to upgrade to the bar-code capable units.

The base unit featured on this page is fully portable using standard AAA batteries. It also comes equipped with a 9V A/C power plug.

Data recorded by the Fraud Fighter™ Age Verifier may be downloaded and stored to a PC–based database to enable business managers to create marketing lists of their patrons. For details of the different software databases, please click the above tab labeled "Visitor Databases".

The Age Verifier uses a patented 8-watt fluorescent light bulb. We manufacture this bulb ourselves, and no other factory in the world is allowed to produce it. This 8-watt bulb offers 2x the power of the “standard” bulb in its class.
